LinLin Chen Announces Her Exit From Kugou
Chinese music streamer Tencent Music Entertainment Group, announced that Linlin Chen has tendered her resignation from her role as Vice President of the streaming platform Kugou and other duties at the company, effective September 30th, 2024.
At TME, Ms. Chen was one of the founders of Kugou, a Chinese language music streaming and download service that was founded in 2004 and owned by Tencent following the acquisition of the brand in 2016. The company is one of the largest music streamers in China with more than 350 million Monthly Active Users, according to statista.
At Kugou, Ms. Chen oversaw operation and management, including business operations, sales and marketing, finance, legal affairs and human resources management.
Ms. Chen holds an EMBA degree from Sun-Yat Sen University.
