Jimmy Butler Scores A Heat Playoff Record 56 Points in 119-114 Game 4 Victory Celeb Secrets
Jimmy Butler is a man on a mission!
The six-time all-star dropped a Heat playoff franchise record 56 points in Miami’s 119-114 win to take a 3-1 series lead against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Heat will look to join rare company as just the sixth number eight seed to eliminate a first seed.
Butler was the story of the night, and rightfully so, as he broke countless records; aside from having the most points in a playoff game by a Heat player, Butler also made Heat history by having the most points in three consecutive playoff games by any Heat player. Butler’s hot night began from the jump as he began the game by finishing the first quarter with 22 points.
With that said, the Heat did not get their first lead of the game until the 1:20 mark in the fourth quarter of the contest when Butler drained a triple to give Miami a 110-109 lead; Jimmy would follow up with a jumper and two free throws to extend the Heat’s lead to 114-109. Miami would end up winning the game 119-114, led by three more points via the free throw line for Butler, and would thus give him 56 buckets.
Something else to mention regarding Miami, the Heat’s Caleb Martin hit multiple clutch threes in crunch time of his team’s victory, including an incredible shot in the face of Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Miami will now head to Milwaukee to make history and try to take down the Eastern Conference’s number-one-seeded Bucks in a Wednesday night showdown at 9:30pm ET on TNT.
