At only fifteen, Sicily Rose has garnered over 250,000 followers on Instagram and nearly 90,000 subscribers on YouTube, using her platform to post all things relatable content as well as bring awareness to causes that are close to her.
Not only is Rose a social media influencer and YouTuber, but she also models and recently began to release original music with hopes to release more this year. In her first track, “Dark Holiday,” she explored the troubles and mental chaos that many people experience during the holiday season.
When asked about what she hoped people took from the song, Rose said, “The inspiration for this was to bring awareness that not everyone has the best holiday season. Some people have a lot of heartache and loneliness during Christmas!”
Rose is very passionate about giving back to her community and using her platform to bring awareness against cyberbullying. She even began the hashtag #justlove so that people were reminded to spread kindness and love to those around them.
“Words can hurt and when you are just a kid and have even adults coming at you, it can all be too much sometimes. People don’t realize how damaging this is to your mental health,” Rose shared. “So If I can bring awareness to this through my platform and it saves someone or makes them feel not alone, then that’s all I can hope to achieve.”

CS: What inspired the concept of “Dark Holiday?”
SR: “The inspiration for this was to bring awareness that not everyone has the best holiday season. Some people have a lot of heartache and loneliness during Christmas!”
CS: Personally, “Dark Holiday” gives a message of dealing with mental health issues that are pretty common around the holiday season. Was that the message you were trying to convey or was it something else?
SR: “Yes, that was the exact message! Not every Christmas season is perfect for every person or family!”
CS: What can we expect to hear in your upcoming music? Are you collaborating with anyone?
SR: “Yes! I am hoping to finish a song that my brother, Zander, and I are working on right now, so be on the lookout for that!”
CS: What inspired you to start The Sis Show?
SR: “I always wanted to start a YouTube, but just never fully committed, so once I made the leap I wanted to make sure that I did it with something that I could continue forever. I love the concept of having a channel that can have all different types of content on it!”
CS: What’s your next goal for The Sis Show? What about 2021?
SR: “My goals for the year on my YouTube are: [the] first goal is to hit 100k subscribers and [the] second goal to hit 1 million views on one of my videos!!”
CS: Who are your favorite social media influencers and why?
SR: “Nessa Barrett, she doesn’t care what people think. I aspire to be that way.”
CS: You’re heavily involved with giving back to the community and raising awareness of cyberbullying and mental health, can you share with us a little bit more about why you decided to use your platform this way?
SR: “I decided to use my platform for this because I have been the victim of this and know what it feels like. Words can hurt and when you are just a kid and have even adults coming at you, it can all be too much sometimes. People don’t realize how damaging this is to your mental health, so if I can bring awareness to this through my platform and it saves someone or makes them feel not alone, then that’s all I can hope to achieve.”
CS: You act, sing, and dance, is there a favorite out of the three? Does one ever influence the other?
SR: “I am actually not a dancer, but I act, sing, and model and if I had to pick one to do forever, it would be singing! I love connecting with someone that way.”
CS: What’s something you haven’t done that you would like to do in the future?
SR: “I actually would like to take a dance class, I doubt I would be very good at it, but I think it would be so fun!”
CS: Since we are Celeb Secrets, is there a secret or fun fact about you that your followers and our readers wouldn’t know about?
SR: “Hmmmmm a secret? I honestly don’t have any secrets or at least none I can think of at the moment. I’m a pretty open book though.”
